The south coast and Glacier lagoon

Beautiful South Coast and the Glacier lagoon with a visit to the diamond beach
This 14 hour tour will let you explore many of the local's favorite attractions throughout the south coast of Iceland.
The first stop will be at the new Lava Center in Hvolsvollur where you can learn about how our little island was formed.
Next we will stop at the two picturesque waterfalls:
Seljalandsfoss - the one you can walk behind
Skogarfoss - the one you can climb up
We will continue along the Nr. 1 highway and see Eyjafjallajokull from the road if weather permits.
The next stop we'll be making is the world-renowned Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach where we'll be able to grab a late lunch and also take a stroll along the shoreline.
We continue to along the coast for abour 2,5 hours with beautiful sights out the window and stops for toilet and refreshments starting at Vik. Then further off to Kirkjubaejarklaustur, then to the national park of Vatnajokull with extraordinary glacier views out the window, ending up at the Glacier lagoon which is a breathtaking view every time. We expect to see seals and a lot of birds in this magical lagoon, beause of the mixture of saltwater and freshwater there is a variety of fish in the lagoon. You know, when you have fish you have a variety of animal life as well that eat and thrive off the fish. We stop at the glacierlagoon for 1,5 hour, giving you time to join the AMPHIBIAN boat tour and walk around the area.
