Arnes
Arnes
Arnes is a unique example of the home and lifestyle of the early 20th century in Iceland.
The house is a small wooden house, built at the end of the 19th century and is in large parts as it was in the beginning and the infrastructure is mostly original.
The house is made to look as much as possible as Icelandic homes did at the beginning of the 20th century.
The furniture is from the local heritage museum or borrowed from other museums, and some items are from the former inhabitants of the house.
