The Cathedral At Holar
The Cathedral at Holar is the oldest stone church in Iceland, inaugurated in 1763. The present church is the fifth cathedral at Holar, since the foundation of Holar as a bishopry in 1106.
The cathedral holds some of the most precious church artifacts in all of Iceland, all of them kept in their original place, including the celebrated Holabrík.
