Egilsstadir (Egilsstaðir) International Airport
Egilsstadir International Airport is one of four airports in Iceland which fulfill requirements for international flights in case planes cannot land at Keflavik Airport.
Scheduled domestic flights run several times a day to Reykjavik. The airport is located on Egilsstaðanes peninsula, on the banks of Lagarfljot lake, midway between Egilsstadir town and Fellabaer town.
