Hrafnabjargafoss is located about 5km upstream from Aldeyjarfoss. Once you pass Aldeyjarfoss, the road becomes the F26, a mountain road only accessible in summer to high clearance four-wheel drive vehicles suitable for highland travel.
If your vehicle is not in this class, please don't attempt the road to Hrafnabjargafoss.
Continue from Aldeyjarfoss for about 5km until you reach a fence and you will see Isholsvatn lake on your right.
There is a track leading to the left at this point down to the river, where you‘ll find Hrafnabjargafoss waterfall.
Though smaller than Aldeyjarfoss, it has a magic of its own, enhanced by the wilderness setting.
