The Westfjords Botanical Gardens is in the center of Bolungarvik (by the community center). Each plant is labeled with its name in Icelandic, Latin, English and German.
Habitat descriptions are also in English. Symbols show how Icelanders have used wild plants throughout history, as food, in medicine, and in magic.
